PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information DROPTRAX collects when you use droptrax.net, how we use it and who we share it with.
Information we collect
- Account details. Your email address when you upload a track, buy with a card or contact support. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google email address, name and account ID.
- Wallet addresses. The Solana wallet addresses you use, and the wallets we create and hold for artists who choose not to use crypto.
- Your uploads. Music, artwork, track titles and artist names you upload. These are published on your drop page and are public.
- Purchases and payouts. What you bought or sold, amounts and dates, and the song prices artists set. Card numbers, bank details and identity documents are collected by Stripe, not by us. When you buy music tokens by card, Stripe may ask to verify your identity, because that purchase includes buying crypto.
- Notes with a purchase. When you buy music tokens you can add a name, an email and a message. The name may be shown publicly (for example in Top supporters). Your email and message go to the artist only.
- Live chat. Comments you post on a drop page are public, with the name you enter. The artist and DropTrax can hide them.
- Rooms. Posts, videos, tracks and messages you share in an artist's Room are seen by the members allowed to see that channel, with your name and rank. Your rank comes from the public token balances of wallets you sign in with.
- Terms you accepted. With each purchase we record which version of the Terms & Risks you agreed to, and when.
- Technical data. Your IP address and basic request information, used to keep the site running and to limit abuse.
How we use it
- To run DROPTRAX: publish drops, process purchases, deliver songs and tokens, and pay artists.
- To send emails you need, such as receipts, wallet access links and support replies.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and spam, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run DROPTRAX:
- Stripe: card payments, buying crypto by card, and artist payouts to a bank.
- Meteora and the Solana network: the public trading pool a song's music tokens move to at launch.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose it.
- Supabase: our database and sign-in system.
- Cloudflare: storage for music and artwork.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: sending emails.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
The blockchain is public
Token purchases, sales and transfers happen on the Solana blockchain. Wallet addresses and transactions are public and permanent, and we can't change or delete them.
Cookies and storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we protect it
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Access is limited to the people who run DROPTRAX. Wallet keys we hold for artists are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep information for as long as your drops are live or as needed for payments, taxes and legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information through the support page. Public uploads can be removed; blockchain records can't.
Children
DROPTRAX is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Questions? Contact us through the support page.
